Playday Terms & Conditions

Application and payment

• You must complete an application form in advance in order to take part in a Playday.

• Only players who have signed up and made payment are permitted to attend the Playday.

• You can apply for as many Playdays as you wish.

• Applications are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. 

• Your place is not confirmed until you have received notification of a successful application and made payment for the Playday.

• If your application is not successful you will be placed on the waiting list for that Playday. If a space becomes available you will be contacted and you can choose whether to attend or decline.

• If you need to cancel, please inform us at your earliest opportunity by emailing with details of the playday in question. This is so your place can be offered to those on waiting lists. If you cancel before 48 hours of the Playday you may be entitled to a full refund if we are successful in re-assigning your seat. If your seat cannot be reassigned no refund is due. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will not be refunded.

• There are no refunds for no-shows or lateness.

On the day

• Please remember to bring a music stand. String players are encouraged to share a music stand.

• All original printed music parts must be returned at the end of the day.

• Bring a (soft) pencil and eraser for marking up your parts. DO NOT USE INK under any circumstances.

• Lunch is not provided, but tea and snacks are. (Bring your own packed lunch.)

• Aim to arrive in good time. If you are running late, please wait for a suitable break before taking your place to avoid disturbing the rehearsal.

• Please help to pack away the chairs before you leave.
