SUE HADLEY PLAYDAYS
ORCHESTRAL WORKSHOPS
How it works
New to Playdays? Here’s a quick guide as to how it works.
Step 1
REVIEW
Visit the Upcoming Playdays page and click on a Playday you're interested in.
Step 2
APPLY
If you would like to play, submit an application by completing the relevant form for each Playday you want to attend. Observe the instrumentation listed for each Playday and select the part you wish to play from the menu on the form. Wind and brass seats are limited and are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. We recommend you apply early to avoid disappointment. If your first choice of part is not available you may be offered an appropriate alternative (eg. Flute 2 rather than Flute 1).
Step 3
AWAIT CONFIRMATION
You will be contacted by email and informed as to whether your application is successful or not. If not, you will be placed on the waiting list and if a cancellation occurs you may be offered a place at a later date.
Step 4
MAKE PAYMENT
If there is a place available you will be asked to make payment online in advance for the Playday. Payment details will be provided. If you are only able to pay in cash on the day please let us know when you reply to the confirmation email.
Step 5
ATTEND THE PLAYDAY
On the day, collect your music part and set up your instrument. Please aim to arrive in good time to get set up and be ready to play at the scheduled start time.
Step 6
RETURN MUSIC AND DEPART
At the end of the day please return the music. Do not take any original printed music parts away with you. The music is hired from a music library and must be returned.
